I am a Registered Nurse working in the field of Obstetrics for 40 years. I was married to Rick Perrin on 3/3/73, had three daughters and a full life. In 2010 my daughter, Lindsey, died and I just lost Rick on April 20, 2019. My journey with grief is ongoing and my desire is to share what I learn to help others.

    1. Thank you Tara. I have been writing different things and the time seemed right. Not sure if I did everything right, but decided to take a chance. Thank you for your support. Thinking and praying for your family.

  3. That was very moving Carolyn. I pray that you will be able to move on in your life even though you will have to do so without your one and only Rick. Memorys you have together will sure help. I think it will be hard but your family and friends or strong and will help you get pass the loss of Rick.

  8. We loved Rick like a brother. When we moved, we missed seeing all of you and Robert said many times, we need to visit Rick. Please know we love you and your family. Maybe we can get together soon. Will continue to pray for all of you. The blog is a great idea and will certainly help many of us.

Thank you again, you have no idea how much it means to me, sharing your feelings has helped me understand my own feelings, I am trying to move forward, but never forgetting , now my memories are mostly positive, the pain is still so raw, but I can handle it, and I am so grateful and so fortunate for the people in my life, and for someone like you that are not afraid to share your feelings, Thank you again
